The Expat Dinner Club is a community for internationals in Los Angeles who want to connect beyond small talk. We host intimate gatherings where expats meet over good food and shared experiences of life abroad. In between dinners, we continue the conversation in our private members-only community chat.

The club is created by expats, for expats. It is for people who’ve moved to Los Angeles from abroad and want to connect with others who’ve done the same. Whether you arrived six months ago or two decades ago, if you’ve built a life far from home and miss that sense of international community, you’ll fit right in.

We host dinners about once a month in different neighborhoods across LA. Invitations are shared with members via email - sign up to be part of the list. We also announce upcoming events on Instagram, so make sure to follow @expatdinnerclub for the latest updates.

Register on our website to become a member and receive invitations to upcoming dinners. Each month we host one or two small gatherings (usually 8–12 guests), spots tend to fill up quickly. Best way to stay updated is by following our Instagram account @expatdinnerclub

Think cozy restaurant settings, family-style menus, and a warm, conversational atmosphere. There is no formal program like switching seats or awkward ice-breakers, just relaxed conversation with people who get what living abroad feels like.
Every dinner is hosted at a different location around LA so it’s a good opportunity to discover new places.

Most guests come alone, and that’s part of the magic. You’ll always find friendly faces and meaningful conversation at the table.
We’re also always trying to keep the table balanced with new and familiar faces at every event.

We welcome expats from all ages and backgrounds. Our gatherings are tailored to anyone looking to connect with others. Generally, lots of our members are in their 20s, 30s, and 40s - but we also have lots expats of outside of that range attend our dinners.

Each dinner has a set menu price which includes food, drinks, as well as all taxes and fees.
We may introduce a community membership later, but for now, events are open on a per-dinner basis.
